No, not all art teachers of course, just the snobbish ‘artist-who-don’t-do-modern-art-are-not-real-artist-because-modern-art-is-the-only-acceptable-art-today-also-cartoons-and-cartoony-looking-drawings-are-kiddy-stuff-and-not-real-art-so-you-should-grow-up-and-stop-drawing-those’ teachers…

Ok sweetie lemme break this down for you. Art teachers aren’t going to be the only ones who spout that crap.That kind of rhetoric is going to all over the place, so just ignore it. From what I’ve been told, many art teachers didn’t make it, so they express the same ideas their instructors gave them. If you can’t do teach as the adage goes. But don’t worry keep doing what you like and don’t let someone’s fantasy become your reality.

The photos were taken in 1916 to help promote The Evil Eye at Princeton’s Triangle Club. Fitzgerald was in his third year at Princeton when the musical-comedy troupe performed the bawdy lyrics [penned by the future Great Gatsby writer].
In a review of his performance, the Times referred to Fitzgerald as “the most beautiful” girl in the whole production.
